He avoided doctrinal questions, so I can't say what he'd say about the Latter Day Saints, ie, Mormons. He also believed, following George MacDonald, that obedience was the hallmark of Christ's true followers, and not denominational affiliation. "By their fruits ye shall know them", or as MacDonald would have it, you can't know the doctrine till you live the faith in obedience.
